May the love of God be with you all now and forever. May His love be the source of your strength and comfort. May His love bring peace in your hearts. May His blood protect you all in every step of the way. To Jesse, continue to R.I.P we shall meet again on that beautiful shore! ?

     Remember Me:

To the living, I am gone.

To the sorrowful, I will never return,

To the angry, I was cheated,

But to the happy, I am at peace,

And to the faithful, I have never left.

I cannot speak, but I can listen,

I cannot be seen, but I can be heard,

So as you stand upon a shore, gazing at a beautiful sea – remember me.

As you look in awe at a mighty forest and its grand majesty – remember me.

As you look upon a flower and admire its simplicity – remember me.

Remember me in your heart, your thoughts, your memories of the times we loved, the times we cried, the times we fought, the times we laughed.

For if you always think of me, I will never be gone.

Screenshot_2016-03-17-18-54-09-1Happy 29th Anniversary Kairuki Hosp. Honestly speaking, you are one of the very few best hospitals in Tanzania! My late paternal grandma used to be one of your patients. I saw how caring and professional you guys are; from the ward attendants, nurses, MDs, and specialists. The amount of care and customer service was just amazing! You didn’t make to 29th by accident, and I am sure with that spirit you will make it to 100th!! Screenshot_2016-03-17-18-55-20-1Happy 29th Anniversary The Kairuki Hospital! Set aside 5 to 10% of your income to save for your future.  If possible , save 15% or more.  Treat it like a bill that you must pay pay , and you must pay it FIRST. That’s your ‘family financial bill’ . Doesn’t it make sense to pay your family first before people’s bills? Your cable TV bill is not more important than your family’s financial well being…

Eala upadates- by Hon. ShyRose Bhanji

#EalaUpadates 10/03/2016-17/03/2016: FB_IMG_1458257274538EALA began 2week bunge session last Tuesday here in Dar and the following took place:

1. The opening session was graced by Premier Kassim Majaliwa on behalf of HE John Pombe Magufuli who is also the Chair of EAC Summit. FB_IMG_1458257219017

  • He highlighted a number of key issues pertaining to EAC integration such as the implementation of Single Customs Territory which has achieved minimum clearance time for goods at Ports and Customs.
  • Development of One Stop Border Posts has reduced travel time for passengers and freight vehicles. EAC has done very well in reducing Tarrif related barriers. He underlined the importance of sensitization and awareness creation to the people so that they realise full benefits of integration.

2. Eala passed a Motion for a Resolution to congratulate SSudan’s admission to EAC

3. Eala also debated and passed a Bill on Disaster Risk Reduction Management which aims at curbing the impact of disasters in EAC coutries. The Bill now awaits assent by Heads of States in EAC.

4. The EAC Sectretary General bid farewell to Eala after the expiry of 5year term.

During the 2nd weeks (Tue, Wed n Thu 15/03/2016-17/03/2016) the following took place:

1. The EAC Supplementary Appropriation Bill, 2016 (first reading)

2. The EAC Customs Management Act (Amendment) Bill, 2016. (First reading)

3. The EAC Sectional Properties Bill, 2016. (First reading).

4. Report of Accounts Committee on the oversight activity undertaken to EAC Institutions was read, debated and passed. Among other challenges the report highlighted funding as one of the challenges facing Lake Victoria Fisheried Organisation (LVFO-one of EAC Instition).

FB_IMG_1458246458181In my contribution I highlighted the importance of Lake Victoria hence the need for all parter states of EAC to inject more funds so that LVFO carry its operations smoothly. On the look of things LVFO is an integration agenda given the extent of the impact in Eac.

  • Lake Victoria has a multi sectoral dimension….it is a source of food sufficiency, employment to many who live and work on the shores of this lake; and source of income to the communities from fish export markets.
  • I also called on LVFO to put in place sensitization strategy to reach out many stakeholders; public and private sectors so that with this awareness it will be easy to raise funds and carry out its operations smoothly. In my view, the biggest challenge facing LVFO is that little if anything is known by key stakeholders and the public.

5. The Committee of Legal, Rules and Privileges on the oversight activity on the harmonisation of National Lawas in the EAC context was read, debated and passed.

ACTIONS TAKEN BY EAC COUTRIES TO HARMONISE THEIR NATIONAL LAWS:

  • Partner States are at different stages of implementation of the directives of Eac Council of Ministers on the harmonisation on national laws.
  • The Commitee observed that the Partner States are very slow in amending their laws to comply with the directive of Council of Ministers of Eac.

6. Eala moved a Motion for a Resolution to bid farewell to Hon. Amb. Dr. Richard Sezibera who is the outgoing SG of EAC. During the debate Members paid tribute to Dr. Sezibera for all the achievements during his 5year term.  Some of these achievements include the recent introduction of the International Eac e-passport, ratification of the Monetary Union, reduction of Ntbs, Single Customs Territory and One Stop Border Posts in Eac. All these developments have contributed to the increase in intra Eac trade.

7. Eala passed a Motion for a Resolution to thank the Founding Fathers and their First Ladies of the First EAC (1967-1977).

  • Eala members paid tribute to the founding fathers; HE Julius Nyerere, HE Milton Obote and HE Jomo Kenyatta.
  • The assembly also registered great appreciation to the former First Ladies for supporting their husbands.
  • The Assembly requested First Ladies: Mama Maria Nyerere, Mama Ngina Kenyatta and Mama Miriam Obote to grace the next special sitting in Arusha.

8. Private Member’s Bill on Eac Counter Trafficking in Persons was introduced. This Bill seeks for common measures to prevent prosecution of perpetrators of trafficking in persons.  FB_IMG_1458257263677Eala completed its 2week session today 17/03/2016. Bunge was adjourned until next sitting in Arusha.

Nikamwambia Mungu wangu utete nao wanaoteta nami,Upigane nao wanaopigana nami. Uishike ngao na kigao usimame unisaidie waaibishwe, wafedheheshwe wote wanaoitafuta nafsi yangu.

Kupitia yeye nilipata amani ya moyo wangu huku nikaamini yatakwisha. Napenda nikwambie leo wale wote wanaoichimbia shimo nafsi yako shimo hilo wataingia wenyewe. Wale wote wanaokusagia maneno na kuligeuza jina lako chakula. Wanakunenea kushindwa, laana, mikosi, ipo siku watayameza maneno yao wenyewe. Tena wanaapizana tutaona kama atafanikiwa kama walivyoapizana ndivyo watakavyoaibika. FB_IMG_1456064695377Shimo walilochimba kwa kazi yako, biashara zako, familia yako, afya yako, jina lako….. Shimo hilo litawafukia wenyewe. Wewe endelea kumtumainia aliye juu.

Anti-inflammatory smoothie for rapid pain relief

Screenshot_2016-03-16-19-42-28-1A chronic pain can prevent you from performing your everyday routine. Experiencing pain in your back, legs, knees and ankles, is a common issue which usually occurs as a result of a lack of a physical activity. Screenshot_2016-03-16-19-43-23-1A pain in the joints can also occur if you suffer from some disease, such as rheumatoid arthritis, osteoarthritis, gout, bursitis, strains, or some injury, or, it may result from tear and wear, as well as from a poor blood circulation.

If you are dealing with pain in your spine, legs, and joints, you should try the following smoothie recipe which will help you to rapidly get rid of inflammation and pain. Here is a natural recipe for a smoothie that will permanently relieve your pain.

Preparation of the SmoothieIn order to make this smoothie, you need the following ingredients:

• 1 lemon

• 1 orange

• 2 pears

• 2 cups of pineapple

• 2 celery stalks

• ½ teaspoon of coconut oil

• a dash of black pepper

• an inch of raw turmeric root Screenshot_2016-03-16-19-42-00-1What you should do is to peel the orange, the lemon, and the turmeric, chop and core the pears and the pineapples and, put all of these ingredients in a blender.

You should use a blender because it keeps the dietary fiber of these ingredients inside, unlike a juicing machine which filters it out as a waste.

Blend the ingredients at high speed. When the smoothie is ready, you can either consume it or, you can store it in a jar for up to 5 days.

Benefits of the Smoothie: This smoothie is very effective in relieving your pain due to the rich nutrient value of the ingredients contained in it. These ingredients have many antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties which can relieve your pain, reduce the inflammation, and improve your bone quality.

When you mix these ingredients you will be provided with optimal results and, you will be protected from many health conditions.

The orange, the lemon and the pears are a great source of vitamin C. This vitamin is a very powerful antioxidant, which reduces the inflammation and prevents many health conditions, including inflammatory arthritis, osteoarthritis (OA), as well as rheumatoid arthritis (RA).

The lemon is also rich in vitamin E which, along with the vitamin C, is effective in protecting the cells from free radical damage.

The celery contains vitamin K. This vitamin prevents bone mineralization and abnormal cartilage, which increase the risk of osteoarthritis in your knees and your hands.

The pineapple contains bromelain which is very helpful in reducing the joint pain. And, the turmeric can relieve the pain, strengthen the bones and improve their function.

With the intake of this smoothie, you will start to notice the results in just a few days. If you don’t feel any pain relief, you shouldn’t stop drinking it because, depending on the severity of the pain, this drink will heal it completely in a period of time from two weeks to three months.

Don’t walk behind me I may not lead! Walk beside me just be my friend!!FB_IMG_1457990292079mnaona kampa jacket mkewe asipigwe na baridi eeh? what a gentleman! FB_IMG_1457990221234FB_IMG_1457990252740Nakumbuka kuna mkutano mmoja hivi wa Wasabato ulifanyika jangwani miaka ya nyuma. Basi Mchungaji mmoja (alikuwa ameletwa nafikiri kutoka America) anaitwa Phiz Henry.

  • Wasiojali walisonga mbele kivyao vyao
  • Mchungaji akasema kila mtu amgeukie mke / mume wake washikane mikono. Wale walioenda mbele bila kujali mke wake au mume wake amesimama wapi wakabaki wanashangaa ?? wakaanza kugeuka kuangalia wapi partners zao wapo. Kumbe Mchungaji anawachora tuu, huku washiriki wakicheka
  • Mchungaji akasema kila mtu am kiss mke wake ?? ilikuwa balaa!! Kuna waliogeuka na kumuangalia Mchungaji kama alikuwa anauwakika na alicho kisema ?? wengine walifanya kama walivyo agizwa bila shida yoyote
  • Conclusion: Upendo wa kweli uwanzia nyumbani! When you truly love someone you can’t be ashamed of them (“But whoever denies me before men I will also deny him before my Father in heaven” Matthew 10:33). Wale wanao pendana walionekana toka mwanzo. (1) kwanza wanakaa pamoja kama familia au walisubirina kabla ya kwenda mbele (2) zowezi la kumshika mkono na kumbusu mkewe alikuwa shida kwao
